§ 117. Mr. N. Macphersonasked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether he is aware that the amount of petrol allocated for cars registered under section 88 of the Representation of the People Act, 1949, in rural constituencies was inadequate; and whether he will ensure that full use of permitted vehicles will not in future be denied by shortage of petrol.
§ Mr. RobensThe allowance of petrol for these vehicles at the last General Election was fixed in consultation with the headquarters organisations of the main political parties and no complaint has been received that the allowance was inadequate.
