§ 117. Mr. Dyeasked the Minister of Health what action he is taking to remedy the shortage of water in many Norfolk villages that occurred last year and in many previous years.
§ Mr. BevanThe local authorities are responsible for taking such measures as are practicable. Since 1945, I have approved 87 schemes for the county at an estimated cost of more than £3,300,000. Work has commenced on 66 schemes at an estimated cost of nearly £1,100,000; work on a further 18 schemes, at an estimated cost of £390,000, is expected to start this year.
