§ 68. Sir W. Smilesasked the Minister of Transport if he is aware that there are 15 British seamen, including two officers of 5W the Mercantile Marine now in Durban. South Africa, awaiting passages to the United Kingdom, that some of these men's families are suffering hardship as the seamen are earning no wages; and if he will take the necessary steps to obtain passages home for these men.
