HL Deb 05 December 1950 vol 169 c766WA
LORD ARCHIBALD

asked His Majesty's Government whether, in view of certain misapprehensions on the subject, they will lay on the Table of the House a Statement of the occasions, if any, on which resolutions supported by a majority of the Security Council were vetoed (a) by the United Kingdom, and (b) by the U.S.A.

THE PARLIAMENTARY UNDER-SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS (LORD HENDERSON)

Neither the United Kingdom nor the United States has ever exercised its right of veto in the Security Council.

House adjourned at nineteen minutes past five o'clock.
