§ 31. Squadron Leader Burdenasked the Secretary of State for War if he will arrange for British troops proceeding overseas on active service to be accompanied by the Navy, Army and Air Forces Institutes' personnel and facilities.
§ Mr. StracheyTroops proceeding overseas on active service are accompanied by N.A.A.F.I. personnel and facilities wherever practicable. Where delay in the establishment of a N.A.A.F.I. service is likely to occur on the arrival of the force at its destination, N.A.A.F.I. packs are provided to bridge the gap before the N.A.A.F.I. service comes into operation.
