§ Mr. Palmerasked the Minister of Agriculture if he has now reviewed administrative salaries in the Women's Land Army; and if, in view of the criticisms of these salaries, particularly of those for county organisers, where applicants who must own cars are offered £250 to £300 per annum, he contemplates an early alteration in the salary scale.
Mr. T. WilliamsI regret that no general increase in the salaries of the administrative staff of the Women's Land Army can be contemplated at present. No full-time member of the staff is receiving less than £300 per annum, and most of the organisers are receiving £350 per annum.
