§ 62. Mr. Edelmanasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, what advice he has given to the Committee of Ministers concerning the Economic Report of the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe.
§ Mr. MayhewArticle 21 of the Statute of the Council of Europe lays down that unless the Committee decides otherwise meetings of the Committee of Ministers shall be held in private. The Committee shall determine what information shall be published regarding the conclusions and discussions of a meeting held in private. It would not, therefore, be proper for me to give details of the proceedings of the Committee in this case.
