§ Mr. Walkdenasked the Minister of Food whether he has considered a report from the West Sussex Joint Water Board concerning the illicit production and disposal of live and dead pigs, poultry and eggs at and from their depot; whether he is aware that a salting and smoking chamber has been in regular use; and as the operations mentioned were not sanctioned by the local enforcement officers, what action he proposes to take.
§ Mr. StracheyNo such report has been sent to me by the North West Sussex Joint Water Board. Inquiries have been made by officers of my Department but no evidence was found of any infringement of the food regulations.
