asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many have been convicted during the last three years of exceeding the speed limit in a restricted area leading into Cambridge, known as Trumpington Road; and how many of these cases had had no previous conviction.

I understand that from 1st September, 1945, to 31st August, 1948, 112 persons were convicted of exceeding the speed limit on this particular road, and that 83 of the persons convicted had no previous conviction recorded against them.
