§ Mr. Palmerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will publish the report of Sir Alexander Maxwell's Committee on the administration of justice in the British zone of Germany.
§ Mr. MayhewSir Alexander Maxwell's Committee was appointed by the then Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster with my right hon. Friend's approval to make recommendations to him on the system established for the administration of justice in the British zone of Germany and various matters connected with the legal staff required. My right hon. Friend does not propose to publish their report which is a Departmental document.
