§ 79. Commander Maitlandasked the Minister of Education how many applications for grants to send children to fee-paying schools have been made; how many of these have been granted; how many have been refused; and how many of the grants allotted were for boarding schools.
§ Mr. TomlinsonMy approval is required only to the general arrangements made by local education authorities for assisting pupils to attend fee-paying schools, and I am not informed about their application to individual cases. I am, therefore, unable to supply the desired information.
