HC Deb 04 March 1948 vol 448 cc86-7W
Mr. Odey

asked the Minister of Health why Mr. Gibbs, of Broad Oak Farm, Kexby, Yorkshire, a dairy farmer, who completed a new cow house for a tuberculin-tested herd two years ago, is still unable to obtain a supply of water although an application covering the supply of water was submitted by the Derwent Rural District Council in 1945.

Mr. Bevan

The premises cannot be served until a water main is extended. Proposals for the extension and a number of other extensions were submitted by the rural district council in November last, but it was necessary to obtain further information, which the council have not yet furnished.
