§ Sir W. Smithersasked the Minister of Health if he is aware that British tubercular patients in sanatoria abroad are required to submit two doctors' certificates, a full-size X-ray plate, and the sum of four guineas every three months in order to apply for funds to continue their treatment; and as this constitutes a burden on patients abroad, if he will make arrangements to refund the four guineas to applicants whose X-rays show serious illness and to those whose applications have been granted.
§ Mr. BevanI am not aware of these difficulties, but if the hon. Member will send me particulars I will look into the position.
