§ Mr. BevanI am aware that some private nurseries are being opened. Residential nurseries in which the minding and maintenance of children apart from their62W parents is undertaken for reward are already subject to inspection, under the Public Health Act, 1936. Private day nurseries, however, are not so covered, and I have noted the hon. Member's suggestion for consideration when a suitable opportunity arises.
