§ 114. Mr. Sparksasked the Minister of Transport what is the quantity and value of materials used for curtains and blinds in railway and road passenger vehicles and if their use was discontinued, except in railway sleeping and dining cars, what additional materials could be made available for the export trade and home market.
§ Mr. CallaghanI have no means of ascertaining the quantity and value of materials so used throughout the country but in so far as the British Transport Commission, the largest user, is concerned, I am bringing my hon. Friend's Question to their attention. As regards the second part of the Question, I understand that my right hon. Friend, the President of the Board of Trade, has no information.
