83. Mr. Hector Hughes

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware of the serious shortage of hotels in the city of Aberdeen; that two big hotels there, the Palace Hotel, damaged by fire, and the Station Hotel, recently derequisitioned, are lying idle; and what steps he is taking to see that there is adequate accommodation for overseas visitors available in Aberdeen.
