§ Mr. Viantasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many irregularities there were by licensees under the Cruelty to Animals Act, 1876, during the year 1946; what was the nature of the offences; and how were the offenders dealt with.
§ Mr. EdeThree irregularities were reported to have occurred in 1946. In one case it was found that a doctor working in a pathology department had made one experiment by innoculation, though he had no licence; in the other two cases licence-holders had made experiments not covered by their certificates. In all three cases the offender was admonished.
