asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty how many E.R.A's. were advanced to the ranks of acting sub-lieutenant (E) and warrant engineer on a permanent basis, respectively, during 1947.

Mr. Dugdale

During 1947, 8 E.R.A's. were promoted to Acting Sub-Lieutenant (E) and 16 to the rank of permanent Warrant Engineer.
