§ Sir S. CrippsIn the Interim Index of Industrial Production, opencast coal mining is given a weight of three out of a total weight for all industries of 1,000. The weight of building and contracting, including opencast coal mining, is 92 out of 1,000 for all industries. These weights are given correct to the nearest whole number.
