80. Mr. Astor

asked the Minister of Works if he will expedite the removal of concrete blocks from the garden of Mr. A. W. Saulter of 2 Temple Avenue, Shirley, as requested of the Ministry in May, 1947, and as contracted by the Ministry in December, 1947.

I understand that a contract was entered into between Mr. Saulter and a local firm in December last. My Department has no responsibility for the rate of progress of the work.
