Mr. Alpassasked the Minister of Labour what progress is being made with the scheme for the repatriation of Poles or their direction into industry, and in the latter case are prior consultations entered into with the representatives of organised workers so as to prevent their interests and conditions being adversely affected.
§ Mr. Ness EdwardsAbout 100,000 Poles have been enrolled in the Re-settlement Corps, of whom 55,000 have been placed in employment or otherwise re-settled. The answer to the last part of the Question is in the affirmative.
