§ Mr. ShinwellApproximately 17,000 of these shelters are held by the War Department in dumps in England and Wales. These shelters are required by the Army for storage purposes at home and overseas. Other shelters, as they are emptied of ammunition, are made available to the Ministry of Works for disposal.
