§ 92. Mr. Peter Freemanasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what is the purpose of the censorship of all letters between this country and Austria; and whether he will arrange for its abolition.
§ Mr. MayhewCensorship has been abolished in the British, United States and French zones of Austria (except for correspondence with Japan and Germany). The only letters still subject to censorship are those to and from the Soviet zone, together with those dealt with by the central Austrian post office in Vienna, which is under the control of the Four Power Inter-Allied Command.
