§ 89. Mr. W. Fletcherasked the Secretary' of State for the Home Department whether the issue of petrol to the special constabulary has been ordered to be withdrawn; to what extent this will increase the great burden on the regular police force; and whether extra cars are to be issued to the police to take the place of cars voluntarily used for this purpose by the special constabulary.
§ Mr. EdeSpecial constables who use their cars on authorised police duty will still be able to obtain petrol for this purpose.
