asked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he will give an assurance that Ministers and civil servants are subject to the same regulations as the public owing to the abolition of the basic petrol ration; and if he will instruct them to keep log books which can be made available for public inspection.

The answer to the first part of the Question is in the affirmative As regards the second part of the Question there is no general obligation on the public to keep log books.
