§ Mr. BellengerIn September, 1946, approximately 9,000 ex-Regular soldiers were in receipt of special Campaign Pensions at an annual cost of some £220,000. At the present time, the corresponding figures are 7,000 pensioner's at an annual cost of £160,000.
