Marshallasked the Minister of Education, as the raising of the school-leaving age to 15 years will not be effective until the beginning of the autumn term this year, if he will consider the advisability of postponing it until April, 1948, in view of the altered economic conditions prevailing and the almost total lack of extra teachers, books and buildings.
