§ 93. Mr. Warbeyasked the Secretary of State for War how many recruits have received O.R. 1 recommendations from personnel selection officers since 1st October, 1946; and in how many cases the recommendation has been disapproved by the commanding officer or unit selection board.
§ Mr. Bellenger3,513 recruits have been marked O.R. 1 from intakes of 10th October to 19th December. Of these 270 have been failed by unit selection board, but the bulk have not yet finished corps training and have therefore not yet appeared before a unit selection board.
