81. Mr. H. D. Hughesasked the Secretary of State for War if he will announce release dates for groups up to 60 who are excluded from L.I.A.P. as a result of the new release programme.
§ Mr. BellengerIn Middle East groups 51 and 53, in Malta groups 52 and 53, and in Gibraltar group 51 have been excluded. As has already been announced, these groups are due to complete release on the following dates:
51 — 29th May to 10th June. 52 — 11th June to 25th June. 53 — 26th June to 8th July. I regret that I am not yet able to give the dates on which groups subsequent to 53 will be released.
