HC Deb 20 February 1947 vol 433 c198W
Mr. A. Lewis

asked the Minister of Labour if he is aware that Mr. W. Rendall, 19, Sprowston Road, E.7, a disabled man through war injuries, has been unable to obtain employment although he has been attending the Stratford Employment Exchange continuously since June, 1946; and what action he proposes to take to assist this man in obtaining suitable employment.

Mr. Isaacs

The applicant referred to, who is registered as a disabled person, has been placed twice since June, 1946; he left the first employment of his own accord, and from the second he was discharged on redundancy. Continued efforts will be made by the Stratford Employment Exchange to find him employment suited to his disability.
