112. Mr. Philips Price

asked the Minister of Works whether he is aware that the refusal to release 1852732 Corporal Crabbe, R.A.F., under Class B, is holding up the completion of the Yorkley Slade Housing Scheme, Forest of Dean, through inability of the contractor to find skilled electricians; and whether he will give the matter further urgent consideration.

Corporal Crabbe is not eligible for Class B release within the arrangements announced by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Labour on 13th December last. I suggest that any difficulties in connection with the local labour position should be discussed with the manager of the local employment exchange.
