HC Deb 19 December 1947 vol 445 c438W
Mr. Granville

asked the Minister of Agriculture if, in view of the effect of two difficult harvests upon the financial resources of small farmers, he is satisfied that adequate credit is forthcoming from the banks, at a reasonable rate of interest, to enable agriculturalists to have sufficient credit and capital to finance the increased food production required to fulfil his programme for 1948.

Mr. T. Williams

Yes. I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given to the hon. Member for Lowestoft (Mr. Edward Evans) on 15th December.
