HC Deb 04 December 1947 vol 445 c87W
62. Wing-Commander Robinson

asked the Minister of Labour whether he has now considered the information supplied to him by the hon. Member for South Blackpool with regard to the proposed termination of the vocational training of ex-Service men who have passed the Institute of British Photographers' intermediate examination; and whether in view of the fact that these students were promised a two-year period of study he will now reverse his decision.

Mr. Isaacs

Yes. I find that these students were given to understand that their course of training would last two years. In the circumstances I agree that any student who wishes to continue his training for the full period may be permitted to do so, irrespective of his success or otherwise at this examination.
