HC Deb 02 April 1947 vol 435 cc330-1W
107. Mr. Peter Freeman

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty why the war service gratuity has been refused the Royal Marine Police Special Reserve who served throughout the recent war as auxiliary police; and whether he will reconsider the matter.

Mr. W. J. Edwards

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given to the noble Lord the Member for South Dorset (Viscount Hinchingbrooke) on 10th October, 1945, to which I have nothing to add.
