§ Mr. Ness EdwardsThe scheme under which school teachers have been released from the Forces in Class B has not yet been suspended although it has largely fulfilled its purpose. Virtually all men identified as teachers by the Education Departments have been offered release in Class B provided they have served not less than 12 months in the Forces and can be spared from their military duties.
