§ 61. Mr. J. Morrisonasked the Minister of Agriculture what stocks of tyres are carried by A.E.C.s; the estimated time" these stocks will last; and if, in counties where shortages exists, he will release some of these stocks for use by the general farmer.
§ Mr. T. WilliamsStocks of tyres carried by county war agricultural executive Committees at present average nearly one 283W tyre for each rubber-tyred tractor, implement or vehicle held by them, or roughly a three months' supply. These stocks, which include various sizes, are not unduly large; but in case it may help to relieve the general situation, I am instructing committees to review them so as to see whether any releases can be made without detriment to their own operations.
