§ 80. Mr. Jannerasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is yet in a position to make a statement with regard to the action which the Government propose to take on the report of the Working Party for the Boot and Shoe Industry.
§ Mr. BelcherMy right hon. and learned Friend is anxious that action should be taken on this report as quickly as possible; but he is not in a position to make any general statement on policy until both sides of the industry have had time to consider the report and discuss it with him.
