§ 48. Sir I. Fraserasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will arrange with St. Dunstan's or the National Institute for the Blind to supply a suitable blind person to join the censorship staff in the British zone in Germany so that German blind people may use braille reading matter fully for literature and correspondence.
§ Mr. J. HyndCensorship and other difficulties are such that it is not yet practicable to send correspondence in braille through the post in Germany. The matter is being re-examined in consultation with the other occupying Powers and the hon. Member's suggestion, for which I am grateful, will be borne in mind.
