§ Mr. IsaacsDuring the last financial year the former chairman of the Catering Wages Commission, who resigned on 4th July, 1945, was not paid a salary, but was, until his resignation, in receipt of a small expenses allowance. The deputy-chairman of the Commission, who acted in the absence of a chairman for the remainder of the financial year, received a fee of eight guineas a day and expenses in respect of meetings of the Commission.
