§ Sir E. Graham-Littleasked the Minister of Labour if he will inquire into a case, details of which have been submitted to him, of an undergraduate of London University, 2257756 L.A.C., who was granted a certificate of exemption from military service, and has nevertheless been called up because he had not started at college before his 19th birthday; and if he will secure his release since otherwise he will forfeit his promised admission to the London Medical School next October.
§ Mr. IsaacsI have inquired into this case, and I am afraid that this young man is not eligible for release from the Royal Air Force to resume his medical studies, as he is not in release groups 1–55. I am writing to the hon. Member to explain the position in full.
