§ 87. Mr. John Hendersonasked the Secretary of State for War if he is aware that there is a dump of explosive shells within a distance of 40 yards from two main aqueduct lines at Duchray carrying 70 and 40 million gallons of water, respectively, per day from Loch Katrine to Glasgow; and if he will give instructions to have these munitions removed from such close proximity to the Glasgow water supply.
§ Mr. Lawson:In order to allay any anxiety about the Glasgow water supply, 12 shelters containing ammunition have already been removed from sites near the aqueduct lines and the question of removing six more is being investigated locally in conjunction with the Glasgow Corporation.
