asked the Minister of Works which Departments or branches of Departments are, at present, in occupation of the Government Buildings, Bromyard Avenue, Acton; the number of staff in each case; to what extent any part of the buildings is at present unoccupied; and how many persons could be accommodated.

The Government Buildings, Bromyard Avenue, Acton, are occupied by the following Departments, the number of staff being shown in each cases:

Ministry of National Insurance 2,625
Ministry of Labour 264
Post Office 505
Ministry of Pensions 4
Canadian Military Authorities 477
Ministry of Fuel and Power 224
Inland Revenue 10
War Damage Commission 294
Customs and Excise 10

The building is now occupied by 4,413 staff and is being used to full capacity.
