Mr. Crossmanasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, in view of the tension in Palestine resulting from the recent military operation and from the continued detention of large numbers of Jewish leaders without charge, he will make a statement with regard to the release of these men either entirely or pending their committal for trial.
