§ 119. Sir S. Reedasked the Under-Secretary of State for India in what manner it is proposed that the Anglo-Indian community will have the opportunity of laying their case before the Constituent Assembly that will frame the future constitution of India, in view of the fact that the provisions for the election of the Assembly give no assurance that Anglo-Indians will secure even a single seat on that body.
§ Mr. A. HendersonThe Anglo-Indian community will have due representation in the Advisory Committee referred to in paragraphs 18 and 20 of the Statement published on 16th May, and this will enable them, together with the other minorities, to put their case effectively before the Constituent Assembly.
