§ Mr. LawsonMilitary prisons and detention barracks are not staffed by military police but by personnel of the Military Provost Staff Corps. These non commissioned officers are required to pass a course of instruction at the Military Provost Staff Corps School, Fort Dar-land, be fore they are allowed to carry out duties in military prisons and detention barracks. Methods of selection and training of applicants for transfer to the Military Provost Staff Corps are constantly under review in order to ensure that only the best non-commissioned officers are recruited for this type of employment.
