§ Mr. Palmerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will now arrange for an Order in Council to be made bringing into force the Easter Act, 1928, so that Easter will he on a fixed date every year.
§ Mr. Ede:No, Sir. As the House will be aware, the position is that no Order in Council bringing the Easter Act into force has been made because no general agreement has been reached among the Christian churches.
