§ Colonel Clarkeasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why rent is still being paid for an air-raid shelter in 6, Bank Buildings, Station Road, Burgess Hill, at a rate of 10s. a week although nothing of value in the way of timber or steel is left on the premises.
§ Mr. Ede:I am informed that there is no record of accommodation at the address in question having been used as a public air-raid shelter. A basement requisitioned for shelter purposes at 1/2 Bank Buildings, 18–20, Station Road, has been derequisitioned within the last day or two.
