HC Deb 02 April 1946 vol 421 c156W
93. Mr. C. S. Taylor

asked the Minister of Works when Ocklynge Farm House, Eastbourne, used by the Public Assistance Board as offices, will be derequisitioned, so that these premises may be used for residential purposes.

Mr. Tomlinson:

Search for alternative office accommodation for the Assistance Board in Eastbourne has so far been unsuccessful. Ocklynge Farm House, which was vacant when it was requisitioned, will be derequisitioned as soon as other premises can be secured, but I am afraid that I cannot say how soon this will be.
