HC Deb 02 April 1946 vol 421 cc156-7W
92. Mr. Erroll

asked the Minister or Works whether, in view of the prospects of an increasing shortage of coal, he is taking steps to ensure that further attention is given to the installation of oil-fuel heating appliances in new Government buildings.

Mr. Tomlinson:

I would refer the hon. Member to the answer given by my right hon. Friend the Minister of Fuel and Power to the hon. and gallant Member for Chertsey (Captain Marsden) on 5th March, of which I am sending him a copy. In designing heating installations in new Government buildings my Department keeps in close touch with the Ministry of Fuel and Power.
