§ Mr. BuchananI am informed that the Corporation have purchased a portion of Camperdown estate at the price of £57,500. The land involved extends to 1,036 acres and the annual rental is £1,987 1s. 9d. I understand that the land has been acquired largely for open space and playing field purposes but that some of it may be used for housing.
